".ME" - NEW INTERNET DOMAIN OF MONTENEGRO

As of 17th July 2008 Open registration of ".me" internet domain (instead of currently used ".cg.yu" domain) is in process.

In the Open registration procedure, first application right is applied, meaning that the name of domain is obtained by the party that applied first.

From the day of official opening of the ".me" domain (i.e. September 25th 2007), new domains related to registered identities seated in Montenegro can not be registered under ".cg.yu" domain.

Transition from ".cg.yu" domain to ".me" domain must be done until September 30th 2009, when the ".cg.yu" domain will be closed.
